I am a modern calligrapher based in Kent.

From a very young age I knew I enjoyed being creative and I took pride in my handwriting; enjoying the praise I received for its clarity and form. As the years have gone by, I have worked in retail, insurance and sales with little thought of my handwriting when jotting down quick notes during my working day. The hustle and bustle of office work began to take it’s toll on me, so I decided I needed to find a new career path. Modern calligraphy seemed the obvious solution; a style which is not only a handwriting technique but also an art form. Every letter is formed using shapes drawn with a pressure responsive nib for clarity of line.

I soon realised that using this method I could create personal, creative, beautiful and original pieces of calligraphy art. My main focus is the written word, but I can also turn my hand to design a table plan board or add a detail or embellishment to your stationery.

When talking about my craft I would say that I am passionate about fine detail and the impact that can have on our lives today. My aim is to provide you with good service and an exceptional product that gets people talking. I will endeavour to understand what it is that you want and how we can best make it happen within your chosen budget.
